Choom cannabis delivery or Budmobile? What to choose?

Choom delivery it`s an elevated cannabis retailer, with a network of corporate owned stores, selling a curated assortment of cannabis and related products.

It began in 1979 with a group of friends on a small hawaiian island, with an even smaller van. This weed loving crew would go on to influence our world, but back then it wasn’t about the future, it was about having good times with good friends. Plenty has changed since then, but one thing remains the same; they are still sharing adventures, sparking ideas, and cultivating good times.

The Choom brand is inspired by Hawaii’s “Choom Gang”—a group of buddies in Honolulu during the 1970’s who loved to smoke weed—or as the locals called it, “Choom”. Evoking the spirit of the original Choom Gang, our brand caters to the Canadian market with the ethos of ‘cultivating good times’. Choom™ is focused on delivering an elevated customer experience through our curated retail environments, offering a diversity of brands for Canadians across a national retail network.

Useful information about cannabis

Many people can’t imagine starting their day without taking a sip of coffee, tea, working out or practicing some other morning ritual, but there are also the ones who like to take a puff of cannabis when they wake up.

Starting a day with cannabis has its name in the cannabis community: it is called wake and bake.

The term wake and bake in the cannabis world is used to describe consuming marijuana right after waking up or some time upon waking up.

Some consumers take cannabis in the morning right after they open their eyes, but others start with the wake and bake ritual after some other activities early in the morning like brushing teeth, taking a shower, or eating breakfast.

Cannabis culture is rich in numerous terms and slang words that describe various products and ways of consuming marijuana. This explains why consumers often come across cannabis terms and are not sure about their meaning.

Today we will present and describe the term blunt, and help you learn a thing or two about it.

What Is Blunt?
A blunt is ground cannabis rolled up in tobacco leaves. Since blunt is made of marijuana and cigar leaves, it has brown colour and its flavour is a mixture of tobacco and specific cannabis strain scent. Since tobacco leaves have nicotine, a toxic substance, some cannabis lovers avoid consuming blunts.

Blunt is made of marijuana and cigar leaves.

Blunts look like joints, so many people often can’t differentiate one from another, and often use these terms as synonyms by mistake.

2. When canning any food at home (e.g. cannabutter or canna-oil) you should be very careful since there can be a risk of the appearance of toxin that can lead to botulism, a very serious illness. This happens when food is canned, processed, stored or handled. Bacteria that cause botulism can very quickly grow in cannabis edibles that are made at home. Cannabis law in Canada

Why was cannabis legalized?

The Government of Canada chose to legalize cannabis to create a legal framework around the production, distribution, sale and possession of cannabis in Canada. More information about the federal framework can be found on the Government of Canada’s Cannabis Resource Page.

Although it is legal for adults to purchase cannabis from licensed retailers, cannabis is a highly regulated substance and there are still criminal and other penalties for conduct that falls outside the law.

In October 2018, Canada became the first G20 country to legalize the recreational use of cannabis. Over the past three years, the province of Ontario — to name just one Canadian jurisdiction — has moved away from having a significantly under-serviced retail market to one that is heavily saturated.

Under federal legislation:

  • adults can possess up to 30 grams of legally-produced cannabis
  • adults can grow up to four cannabis plants per household
  • the minimum age for purchase and use is 18 years of age, but provinces can increase the age limit
  • licensed production of cannabis is controlled by the federal government
  • distribution and sale of cannabis is controlled by the provincial government
  • new provisions to address drug- and alcohol-impaired driving have been established

What are the rules about consuming cannabis and driving?
Driving while impaired is dangerous and is a criminal offence. Driving while impaired by cannabis or other drugs is still illegal.

Drivers found to be impaired while driving will face driver license suspensions, fines, vehicle impoundment and/or time in jail.

Drivers under the age of 22, commercial drivers and novice drivers are not permitted to have any detectable presence of cannabis in their body, as confirmed by a federally-approved roadside screening device.
